On September 26, the new movie from the creators of “Facing the Giants” arrives in theaters.
“Fireproof” is a story about a firefighter husband and his wife who are going through very difficult times in their marriage. The various issues they face may seem familiar to many of us, so this movie may hit close to home. The story goes on to show the attempt to work the marriage out before following through with the divorce. From what I’ve seen of comments about “Fireproof“, it is ultimately a message of hope in God’s power to restore what was thought to be lost.
“Facing the Giants” is one of my top ten all time favorite movies. That being the case, along with my obvious passion for trying to help others have the great marriage God intended for them, I’m definitely looking forward to seeing this movie.

Amazing movie. Wow. It was so well done and has so many wonderful things in it. Great Biblical ways to work on a marriage. Thank you for being so bold with your faith and your love for Jesus Christ. Thanks for helping to spread the truth. I really believe that this movie will benefit many marriage relationships. So many real life situations in this movie. And a great way to slip in some funny parts as well. ( like Caleb outside when he’s beating his trashcan and sees his neighbor and other scenes with the neighbor, the fireman in front of the mirror.)

This movie was Awesome, Inspiring, Funny, I believe this was the best love story I have ever seen. My husband and I saw it together and we wanted to definitley add this to our movie collection at home! I encourage people to go see this movie especially married couples. Saw the movie and think it is the best movie I have seen in years. But then it didn’t come from Hollywood either. Had an excellent and clearly presented message of how to be saved. Keep up the excellent work. I will be praying for you. Gonna have to see the”Giants” film now.

This movie in it’s essence is our story! We were and are so blessed to see God’s intimate intervention portrayed so poignantly in their lives. Excellently done! May more and more people be blessed by this movie that so eloquently showed God’s awesome power and love that He has for each one of us and how He meets us where we are and takes us to glorious peaks of victory in His power! I’ve heard so many great things about Fireproof, and have watched the trailer a few times. I live in Saskatchewan, Canada. When will this movie be in Canadian theaters? Where can I buy a DVD of the movie (I checked on Amazon.com and it’s not available as of yet)?
Good to hear all the great reviews for the movie. Seems to really be something that people can relate to. They did an excellent job with not only the message, but the story and quality of the movie.

My wife and I both saw the movie this eavening. I was truely moved by its story line. It immediately made my heart feel guilty and ashamed of how I have taken my wife and my marriage for granted., and that I am responsible for its condition. While in the car on our way home I told her how much that I loved her and that I was sorry for all the hateful words that I have spoken toward her, and how important she and our marraige were to me.I asked her for her forgiveness ,which she gave,and tomorrow in our church, I will ask the Lord , my King and Savior, for his forgiveness and his direction toward reshaping my heart and guidence in becoming the husband and father he would have me be.I am a saved man and so is my wife and children, but it is easy to become distracted and to become selfish with our own wants and desires.To neglect and hurt the ones we claim to love the most.Thank-you for slaping mt face and stepping on my toes, God bless you all ,and may he grant you all the grace that is his.

Thanks for sharing. That is a great testimony, especially of someone who hears what God has put on their heart (through a great movie) and takes action on it. God will honor your commitment to loving your wife like God loves us. Keep sharing your testimony with others as your marriage gets better and better, and it will give them hope as well.

The only other Christian movies that I can think of are by the same brothers. They are “Facing the Giants” (love it) and “Flywheel” (haven’t seen yet, but on my Netflix list).
You can do a search for those on Netlflix or Amazon.
